INSTALLATION

  • Place the Hatcher base on a flat, level surface (workbench height is ideal) with the door facing forwards.
  • Plug incubator mains supply cable into a suitable outlet.
  • Allow the incubator to run for at least an hour to stabilize the temperature before making adjustments or setting eggs.
  • Always disconnect the power supply before moving the incubator.
  • After pouring water into both grooves patterns, place the hatching mat in the tray bottom and run the Hatcher for at least an hour at the correct temperature to warm the water.
  • Disconnect the incubator and base from the main power supply during.
  • Ensure that all electrical parts are kept dry.
  • The exterior of the cabinet may cleaned with a damp cloth.
  • Only use the power supply unit supplied with the product. Use of a different power supply may cause a hazard and will invalidate any warranty.

THINGS TO DO

  • Before placing the eggs clean the incubator with little anti biotic liquid thick cloth.
  • Switch on the incubator for about 2 hours before placing the egg.
  • Use the stabilizer[preferred V guard VG400(170v-270v)] to avoid damage to incubator due to voltage fluctuations.
  • When there is no power the incubator will not work properly, so place an inverter to generate power.
  • Do not open the incubator when it is a switched on if needed switch off the incubator to open it.
  • Just before the hatching date place the eggs in the hatching basket from the egg tray.
  • Constant power supply is needed for the incubator or it may result in delay or change in turning time. So it is suggested to use an inverter we can provide inverter for an extra charge.
  • Fill the water tank fresh water every 2 days.
  • Incubator is Atmospheric Temperature dependent and Best result will get in 200C – 350C climatic temperature.

STEPS OF WORKING

1. Open the machine and insert the trays (Motor Rad should be in channel of the            Tray ).
2. Insert the Eggs in to the trays
3. Place the water Bowl in the bottom and fill water for 80-90% (check the water level and fill the water in every Two days) and close the Door.
4. Power On the machine using power switch.
5.Switch on the Motor switch also(up to 18 Days(last 3 days there is no need of Egg Turning)).
6.After 18th day ,you need to switch off the motor switch.
7. From 19th day you will get the chicks.(Don’t keep the chicks more than one and half days in the incubator.)
If You want want more clarification regarding the working we can arrange a video call conference.

EGG STORAGE REMINDERS

  • Store less than 10 days
  • Maintain temperature between 12 to 18°C
  • Keep relative humidity at 75 percent
  • Turn eggs stored more than a week
  • Handle eggs with care!

CLEANING AND FUMIGATION

Microbes in an incubator can significantly reduce hatchability. Cleaning and disinfecting equipment must be standard operating procedures. Disinfect incubators, hatchers and their racks with quaternary ammonia or a commercial disinfectant after each hatch.

The day eggs are set let stored eggs warm to room temperature for 4 hours to 8 hours before setting them in the incubator. If you place cold eggs in a warm, humid incubator, condensation will form on them and lead to possible contamination or suffocation.

Once the eggs are in the incubator, do not adjust the temperature or humidity for a few hours, unless the temperature exceeds 39°C. After 4 hours, make proper adjustments. The final temperature should vary only .5 degree above or below 37.5°C. The temperature of incubators with- out circulating fans fluctuates more than incubators with circulating fans. If the temperature does not exceed 39°C, the hatch should not be harmed.

Set the small end of the egg lower than the large end in the incubator. A developing embryo orients so that the head develops toward the air cell, which is in the large end of the egg. If the small end is higher than the large end during incubation, a chick’s head can orient away from the air cell of the egg and not hatch.

CHEMICALS FOR DISINFECTION AND TO CLEAN POULTRY INCUBATOR

  1. Solution (Formalin) HCHO=30.03
  2. Potassium permanganate – For Cleaning

Pleace keep these Chemical bottles closed in a moderately warm condition and also keep away from Children Formaldehyde. This Chemical is Irritating and poisonous.

HOW TO USE. Take 20 ml Formaldehyde Solution in a plastic bowl and put two pinch of Pottassium permangante in it. Suddenly it starts to produce fume which is harmful for breathing. So close the lid of the incubator and leave it for half an hour. Later open the Solar incubator and leave it for one hour to get rid of the chemical’s smell and effect. Once Chicks started to come out, keep them in a Hatcher with Warm Temperature by using incandescent Bulb. Give I V vaccine after 6 days to chicks. After 15 days I B D Vaccine is given to prevent any diseases.

INCUBATION REMINDERS

  • Place the incubator in a room with a constant temperature, no drafts or direct sunlight.
  • Sanitize the incubator.
  • Wash hands before touching eggs. Keep germs, dirt and oil away from incubating eggs.
  • Only incubate eggs together from species with similar incubation periods.
  • Keep the small end of the egg lower than the large end.
  • Record of incubator data daily.
  • Ensure that the humidifier is working or that the water pan is filled.
  • Verify humidity levels are between 55 to 60 percent.
  • Check temperature daily and keep it at 37.5°Cto 39°C.
  • Turn eggs at least 5 times a day until 3 days before hatch.
  • Increase ventilation during the last third of incubation.
  • Do not turn for the final 3 days. Provide a cloth or rough paper for the chicks to walk on.
  • Increase humidity to 65 to 70 percent at hatch stage.
  • Incubator is atmospheric temperature dependent and Best result will get in 200C – 35ºC
